Dear MsKathy, my sweet girl,
Nearly a year ago, you took a chance on me, this unknown individual whom you heard wanted to be a beta. You took me on, and gave me one of the best jobs in the fandom. I could have no idea at the time that it would lead to friendship, an education that I didn't know I needed (or that was even a possibility!), and more fun than one person possibly has a right to. My beta work for you has led to beta work for other writers, but you will always be my first, and best, baby. ;)
Thank you so much for always being there for me, no matter how bizarre or out-of-left-field my questions and concerns have been. And thank you for always putting up for my beta comments that say, "I just can't picture what position they're in here." Yes, sometimes you laugh at me, but you always end up explaining it in a way that I, and hopefully your readers, understand. You're a wonderful resource for everything from marzipan to nipple clamps, and you're a connoisseur of both. That, my dear, is special.
I hope that the next year brings you good luck in publishing your original fiction, as well as the time and inclination to finish the stories I know your fans are, um, gently asking you about. ;) I also wish health and happiness to you and your beautiful family.
Hopefully we'll get to meet in person in the next few months so I'll be able to do this properly, but, for now {{{HUGS}}}. Happy Birthday, sweet thing!
